2. Personal data

Personal data is data about you. This includes your name, address, telephone number and email address. You do not have to disclose any personal data to visit our website. In some cases we need your name and address as well as other information in order to be able to offer you the service you require.

The same applies if we provide you with information material on request or if we answer your inquiries. In these cases we will always inform you of this. In addition, we only store the data that you have sent to us automatically or voluntarily.

When you use one of our services, we generally only collect the data that is necessary to be able to offer you our service. We may ask you for additional information, but this is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to be able to offer you our service or to pursue our commercial goals.

3. Automatically stored non-personal data

When you visit our websites, we store certain information for administrative and technical reasons. These are: type and version of the browser used, date and time of access, and the IP address. This data is anonymized and used only for statistical purposes or to improve our Internet and online services. This anonymized data is stored on secure systems - separate from personal data - and cannot be assigned to individual people. This means that your personal data remains protected at all times.

4. Cookies

When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an Internet server to your browser and stored on its hard disk. Only the Internet Protocol address is stored here - no personal data. This information, which is stored in the cookies, allows you to be automatically recognized the next time you visit our website, making it easier for you to use.

Of course, you can also visit our website without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognized the next time you visit, you can also refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings in your browser to "Reject cookies". You can find the respective procedure in the operating instructions for your respective browser. If you reject the use of cookies, however, there may be restrictions on the use of some areas of our website.

5. Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. The Tag Manager does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been carried out at domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager. You can find Google's privacy policy for this tool here: https://www.google.de/tagmanager/use-policy.html

6. Web analysis

In order to continuously improve and optimize our offering, we use so-called tracking technologies. For this purpose, we use the services of Google Analytics.

6.1 Google Analytics with anonymization function

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google", on our website. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your website visits, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there. We use Google Analytics with the addition "_gat._anonymizeIp" on our website. In this case, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thus anonymized.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where third parties process this data on Google's behalf. Google will, according to its own statements, never associate your IP address with other data held by Google.

You may prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent.

Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation add-on for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over which data Google collects about the websites you visit. The add-on tells the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) that no information about the website visit should be sent to Google Analytics. However, the Google Analytics browser deactivation add-on does not prevent information from being sent to us or to other web analysis services we may use. You can find more information about installing the browser add-on via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

If you visit our site via a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), you must click this link instead to prevent tracking by Google Analytics within this website in the future. This is also possible as an alternative to the above browser add-on. Clicking the link will set an opt-out cookie in your browser that is only valid for this browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, so you will have to click the link again.

7. Secure data transfer

We transfer your personal data securely using encryption. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system. We also use technical and organizational measures to protect our websites and other systems against loss, destruction, access, alteration or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.

8. Security

We have taken technical and organizational security precautions to protect your personal data against loss, manipulation and unauthorized access.

9. Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy if this should become necessary due to new technologies or other circumstances. Please ensure that you have the most recent version.
